Miriam Simmons Turcotte, 89

Miriam Simmons Turcotte, 89, wife of Roger E. Turcotte of Lancaster, PA.  She passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Brethren Village.  Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Martha (Fitterer) Simmons.

Miriam graduated from McCaskey High School.  Upon graduation, she worked for Armstrong World Industries for 39 years as a secretary.  She retired to Palm Harbor, Florida in 1982 and returned to Lancaster in 2010 and lived at Brethren Village.  She was an accomplished pianist and performed throughout the area.  She brought great joy to all her friends.  She will be lovingly missed by her husband, Roger.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 with Rev.
