Miriam “Mira” Jordan Ferrara

December 18, 2017

Miriam “Mira” Jordan Ferrara was born at 11:01 am on December 18, 2017 to parents Joseph and Alison Ferrara at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Mira weighed 4 lbs. 11 ozs and was 16 inches long. She had beautiful brown eyes and dark brown curly hair. Mira was held by her parents for her entire 53 minutes of life on Earth. Her short life was filled with nothing but love. She enjoyed music and being read to. She was so strong and fought to have the time to meet her parents before going to be with Jesus.

Mira is deeply loved by her Mommy and Daddy, her grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless more. She will always be her parents’ precious daughter and loved beyond words.

A Memorial Service will be held at Dove Westgate Church in Ephrata on January 5th, 2018 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Special Delivery Unit (SDU) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Gifts can be made online by designating your donation to the SDU through CHOP’s website: www.giftofchildhood.org/donate. Donations can also be made in Mira’s name to Three Little Birds Perinatal & Palliative Care Advocacy & Support Center, an organization that provided support and services to the Ferrara family, through their website: www.threelittlebirdsperinatal.org.
