Millard F. Foutz, 83

Millard F. Foutz, 83, of Lancaster, PA passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 at Susquehanna Nursing & Rehabilitation in Columbia, PA.

Born in Millersville, PA he was a son of the late Millard R. and Ethel (Haverstick) Foutz. Millard was a graduate of Penn Manor High School and was a machine operator with the former Federal Mogul for 33 years until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, watching trains, auto racing, traveling to the mountains and visiting the Rock Hill trolley. Millard was a life member of the Mill Creek Sportsman’s Association and was the 1st reported case of Polio in Lancaster County as a child.

He is survived by a son Eric A. Foutz of Millersville, PA and a daughter Karen J. Foutz of Lancaster, PA; two brothers Eugene Foutz husband of Phyllis of Scottsdale, AZ and Robert H. Foutz of Kunkletown, PA. Millard was preceded in death by his companion of 25 years the late Katherine “Kitty” Craig.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 12:00PM from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St. Millersville, PA 17551. Interment will be held privately. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 11am-12pm at the funeral home.
