I wish you all my sympathy and condolences.
I am a "Newbie to Trolley Lane", in Pequea, but have spoken with Mike on several occasions.  During the course of our few conversations, he was kind and very polite. I had looked forward to getting to know him over the next several years, and will express that everyone on the lane liked Mike!

What a shock to lose Mike.   I had the good fortune to see him just weeks ago when we did some work at Bill Boyd’s home next to Mikes.  I haven’t seen him for years and was very happy to see him and talk with him.  I always loved talking about his health food recipes and views on life. I can still picture him riding back trolley road and stopping to talk.  As we all get older in life, we meet people who will be missed.  Mike is truly one of them.  We are out of the area, but Mike is in our prayers.  Blessings to Mikes family.

Dottie,
I was saddened to read of Michael’s untimely death. From the obit. in the paper, he sounded like a son who would have made his mother proud. I hope you are well, and I look forward to seeing you around (maybe at the post office again)

I only had the privilage of meeting Michael several years ago.  I was shocked to hear of his passing.  He always brought a smile to my face whenever I would see him.  We would have many talks about everything under the sun.  We would always bring him a meal for every holiday.  He was always so thankful. (I think it was just because he knew we cared.)  It deeply saddens us and we send our condolences to all of his family.  …Lisa and Tom Megargee of Pequea.

I really didn’t think that I would be seeing Michaels name in the obituaries, he was a wonderful man and a very welcoming neighbor.  I thought of Michael as a grandfather….and we had so many discussions and awesome experiences together.  He also helped Heather and I around the house when there were things we couldn’t fix.  I’m so glad that Heather and I got to live next to an awesome guy, and a good friend. Whenever I pick berries or see an Eagle I’ll be thinking of you Michael!!!
Love Emily and Heather

Just learned of Mike’s passing.  We were friends in our "younger" years.  I am sure he will be greatly missed!
