Merita W. Hallacher, 83

Merita W. Hallacher, 83, of Lititz, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019.
She was the wife of Richard P. Hallacher, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage this past October 28th. Born in Lancaster and a lifelong resident of Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Souders Wagaman.

Merita was a homemaker and, in years past, worked in her family’s business, Wagaman Printing in Lititz.

She was a graduate of the former Lititz High School and had attended both Gettysburg College and Millersville University.

Her family was the most important thing in her life and she enjoyed taking family vacations to Ocean City, MD and the Poconos.

Merita was a long-time member of Salem Lutheran Church of Kissel Hill.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Marcia M. Gephart of Lancaster and her son Richard “Rick” C.. Hallacher of Lititz; her 3 grandchildren: Lindsay married to Eric Forbes, Matthew Gephart married to Katie, and Justin Gephart companion to Sarah Matthews, and her 2 great grandchildren, Madison and Leif. She was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Wilson.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 6-8PM at Spacht Snyder Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 127 S. Broad St., Lititz and again on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 11AM-12Noon, with the Funeral Service to follow at 12Noon. Interment will be at 2PM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
