Mary R. Kiehl, 90

Mary R. Kiehl, 90, of Lancaster passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at LGH. Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late Richard and Clara (Drennen) Laube. She was married to the late Jacob B. Kiehl who passed away in 1998.
Mary was a graduate of JP McCaskey High School.
Most of her life she spent as a homemaker raising her children.
Mary was a member of St. Luke United Church of Christ in Lancaster, where she was a former member of the Ladies Guild and the Happy Wanderers. She was an avid reader, enjoyed her teddy bear collection and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Darryl J. Kiehl, husband of Judith A., of Ephrata, Donald R. Kiehl, husband of Catherine, of Oakview, CA, Douglas K. Kiehl, husband of Anna Maria, of Camp Hill, PA. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Jennifer and Jessica, three great-grandchildren, Hayley, Aubrey and Penny. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and Richard Laube and her son, Dennis W. Kiehl, husband of Byra S. Kiehl, of Hershey.
A Memorial Service will be at 12 Noon on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA 17602 with Rev. Harry Royer officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, 719 Marietta Pike, Lancaster, PA 17603 or to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603. I would like to offer my condolences to the Kiehl Family. As young kid I used to be at there house alot. I just found out about Mrs. Kiehl’s passing a month later. She was a wonderful person that always treated me well.She will be missed. Steve Anderson
