Chris and Stephanie,

Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time. Whenever I pass by your old home in Coxsackie, I reminisce about all the good times we had there while growing up. I’ll never forget entering the house from the side door and marveling at all the crafts that she was constantly working on. She was truly a creative person.

I first met Mary in 1960 when we both worked at Miller Hospital in St. Paul. We remained in touch over the years, and I enjoyed Mary’s cards and e-mails so much. They were always full of news about her delightful family and what was going on in her life. I shall miss her very much. The world was a much better place with her in it.

Our condolences to your family. I worked with Mary and she was a very kind and gentle person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
