Mary C. Hewitt, 71, of Lancaster, PA, formerly of Elmira, NY, passed away on May 20, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Elmira, she was the daughter of the late Alice & John Hewitt. Mary was the significant other of 30 years to Mary Delong.
She retired as a manager from CVS. Mary was a member of the American Legion Post#34. She enjoyed skiing & golfing, and loved her dogs.
Mary is survived by her companion, Mary Delong; cousins: Kathleen Stranger, wife of Robert, Colleen Flynn, Eileen Flynn, Maureen Butler, and Kevin Flynn, husband of Darleen; and her dog, Prizzie.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM with A Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11 AM on Friday, May 25, 2018 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s name to the National MS Society, PO Box 4527, New York, NY 10163.
