Marcia L. “Marcy” Vinciguerra, 45

Marcia L. “Marcy” Vinciguerra, 45, of Landisville, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital due to an illness. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Ronald and Treva (Smith) Shaffer. She was the loving wife of Dennis S. Vinciguerra with whom she was married to for over 20 years.
Marcy was a 1989 graduate of Manheim Twp. High school and later graduated in 1993 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interior Design. She previously worked at Donegal Insurance Co. as a claims adjuster.
Above all she was a wonderful wife, mother, and daughter and loved spending time with her children and family. Marcy also enjoyed home design and fashion.
Marcy was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Columbia and a longtime member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lancaster.
In addition to her husband and parents Marcy is survived by her two daughters, Ella and Olivia both at home; two brothers, Matthew Shaffer husband of Jennifer of W. Hempfield Twp., and Mark Shaffer husband of Caryn of Culpepper, VA.
A celebration of Marcy’s life will be held at 12Noon on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at St Peter’s Lutheran Church, 10 Delp Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601. Friends will be received two hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marcy’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr, Lancaster, PA 17603.
