M. Jane Koring Wenzel, 93

Jane Wenzel, 93, of Lancaster, PA passed away on February 11, 2016 at the Mennonite Home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Chester & Helen (Patton) Spaulding. Jane was the widow of John D. Wenzel, Sr., who died in 1998, and her first husband, Richard R. Koring, who died in 1976.
She was a 1940 graduate of McCaskey High School. She was a member of the Church of the Apostles UCC.

Surviving is a son, Ronald E. Koring, husband of Billie; 3 step-children: John D. Wenzel, Jr., husband of Linda, Scott E. Wenzel and Suzanne McCarty; 2 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law: Raymond Plourde. Jane was preceded in death by a sister, Helen A. Plourde; and a brother, John J. Brauer.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Mennonite Home Chapel, 1520 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601. Friends will be received from 10-11 AM prior to the services. Interment will be at the Paradise Mennonite Cemetery.
