Lorraine E. Maser, 84

Lorraine E. Maser, 84, of Lancaster, died Monday, February 19, 2007 at the home of her daughter, Kathy, after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Gertrude Warfel Musser. She was the wife of the late Robert N. Maser.

A homemaker most of her life, she held various jobs to keep busy including her most recent job at J.L. Clark. Lorraine liked to read, work in the yard, and enjoyed traveling the United States with her husband. She loved game shows, playing cards, and board games especially Scrabble. A highlight for her was monthly dinners with fellow McCaskey classmates from her 1940 graduating class. She attended the First Church of God, Lancaster.

Surviving are her children, Robert C. Maser, husband of Gretchen, of Lancaster, Kathy J. Tshudy, wife of the late Robert “Bob” L. Tshudy, of Leola, and Tina M. Rambler of Lancaster; eight grandchildren, Francis “Frankie” and Jennifer Seidle, Christina Wolf, Ryan Maser, Steven Rambler, Gavin, Neil, and Nora Maser; eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a niece, Barbara Ann, wife of J. Dale Andrews, who she thought of as a daughter. She was preceded in death by two of her children, Terry and Patricia Maser.

Funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125. Arrangements by the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, Lititz.
