Thinking if you today dear old friend .. 💗
Keep shining bright! 💗

Amber,

I was so sad to learn of your mother’s death. She was such a kind, giving, positive person. I still remember the day I met her like it was yesterday. I was walking Sydney, Darby, and Paris near F&M and she stopped me and asked what kind of dogs they were. We started talking about how they had been rescued from a puppy mill and would be eventually up for adoption. I took her name and phone number and we kept in touch until she was able to adopt Sydney. And from that one random meeting, a friendship began.

We had lost touch recently, and for that, I have true regret. I think of her often, and wish I hadn’t waited so long to try to reconnect with her.

I am thinking of you and your family and am so sorry for your loss. If it is not too much to ask, I would really like to know if Sydney is ok. I know she was your mother’s constant companion. They were both lucky to have each other.

Sincerely,

Kerry Flanagan Bruni

Amber,

Robert phoned me this week with the news of your mother.  I can’t tell you how sorry I was to hear of Linda’s passing.  I will always hold the great memories of your mom in my heart.

Linda and I were childhood friends.  We shared many adventures as grade-schoolers, some of which included a neighbor’s collie, Rex.  We smoked our first cigarettes in the corn field that grew between our houses after finding a partial package of Salems in the street.  Luckily, the corn was too green to catch fire. I remember her devotion to her family, and everyone who was important to her, even as a child. My sympathy goes out to all her friends and family; she will be greatly missed.

Dear Amber,

We are thinking of you, and will always remember sailing with you and your mother and watching the moon rise over the Chesapeake. And you and Katy driving us absolutely crazy all the years you were growing up together. Your mom was a lovely woman and we are so glad we knew her.

Amber- I just want to take this opportunity to let you know what an impact your mother made in the life of me and my daughter, Bri.  She not only assisted me in buying our first home, she became a friend to me in the caliber of sisterhood.  After purchasing my home, I invited Linda to a luncheon at my home, she gladly came and fell right into place with all of the other women there, sharing funny stories and making everyone laugh. I was impressed by her non-judgment, how we had so much similar in our "past" lives.
Again, please accept my condolences.

I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU AND ALL THAT YOU STOOD FOR! YOUR PRESENCE WILL ALWAY’S BE HERE ON EARTH IN AMBER. SHE TRULY WAS THE LIGHT OF YOUR LIFE AND OH HOW PROUD YOU  WERE OF AMBER! MAY SHE ALWAY’S BE THE WONDERFUL PERSON YOU WERE!
WITH LOT’S OF LOVE,
MITTY

My deepest sympathies to you in the loss of your lovely wife and mother.  Amber, she was so very proud of you.  And she loved life so much and being with people.  She was so outgoing and if you were down in the dumps she brought you back up very quickly.  We have such fond memories of her that we are so glad to have.  We will miss her beautiful smile and presence.

To Amber, Gail and Dana,

I extend my sincere condolences for your loss.

Please know how completely shocked and so very sad and sorry I am for the sudden passing of our dear Linda.

Her not being in my world is going to leave a tremendous void in my life.  She was a ray of sunshine who wanted nothing more but to make others happy.  I have known Linda for 50 years and we shared many, many happy memories. I will always remember her sweet, generous, and thoughtful disposition.  All the times we would laugh until we cryed over the silliest of things.  How very proud she was of the lovely person you are Amber.  Her love and devotion to Sidney, the little Havanese she rescued from a puppy mill. I will miss her so much and think of her every day….

This to express my sadness upon learning of Linda’s death.  We were classmates many years ago at ‘L.T.’ and were acquainted before and after those junior high school years.  Her beauty, wit, charm and practical decency are the qualities causing me to remember her these many years later.  I left Lancaster in 1964, but as you see, her presence in my youth remains vivid…  I wish you many happy memories of comfort in the loss of this lovely-and-loving person.  She was a ‘star’ indeed.
