Linda Lee Olson, 74

Linda Lee Olson, 74 of Lancaster, PA and formerly of Bear Creek and Plains Township, PA,
passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Linda was the daughter of the late Arthur H. and Adele May (Rundle) Searfoss. She was the loving wife of the late Charles Olson, Sr., who passed away in 2013 after sharing 45 years of marriage.

Linda graduated in 1966 from Ashley High School. She worked for 19 years at Techniglass as a forklift driver in Pittston, PA. She raised three kids and a granddaughter.

Linda was married June 29, 1968, to the love of her life and her best friend Charles. They loved each other so much. He was the family prankster he always made her laugh even if she didn’t want to and loved her so dearly.

Linda loved spending time with family, taking the grandkids to the movies and, playgrounds. She enjoyed chatting with family and friends, doing activities and outing trips. she loved watching NCIS, Law and Order, Price is Right with Bob Barker (and Drew), Wheel of Fortune, as well as all of her game shows and Lifetime. She loved her chicken with BBQ and ALWAYS her Pepsi. She loved playing card games and beating her Cody bear with war. She enjoyed chatting with the kiddos – they would always say what are you doing- “talking to you” she always responded joyfully. She enjoyed all the holidays. She enjoyed Christmas time and driving to see all the “pretties” (the lights). Her favorite color was teal/aqua and she loved decorations with frogs and cows, red cardinals/blue birds, wheeping cherry trees, and forsythia bushes. She was always there for you. She was full of love and full of life.

In addition to Charles and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur h. Searfoss Jr. aka “Butchie,” and sister Nancy L. Bozek.

Surviving are her sons, Charles W. Olson and David M. Olson (wife, Nhung) of Wilkes-Barre, PA; daughter Kimberly A. Appenzeller of FL; her granddaughter/daughter Shayna Umble (husband, Mike) of Lancaster, PA; her grandchildren Steven (wife, Summer), Klarissa , Alyssa, Deseray, Brandon, Jacob, Hailee and Josh; her great- grandchildren Cody, Casey, Bailey, Bentley, Hayden and Mason; her sister Patricia Kile of Hanover Twp; sister in law Venus Searfoss of Wilkes-Barre, PA as well as special family- Mike Mykulyn and Tammy Appenzeller; and several sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, family and friends whom she loved so very much.

A Viewing will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584 on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM.

Shaunna  I loved your gram dearly. God blessed me with three sister in laws that I got along with oh so well loved the family get together unfortunately due to healt issues of my own I will not be able to attend the viewing. My heart goes out to each and everyone of you  she was well loved. Stay strong  I know this is hard. She never really is gone  always in your memories and your heart. Love. Aunt Venus
