Levinia M. Dixon, 92
Levinia M. Dixon, 92, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late David Cooper and Arabella (Johnson) Cooper.
Levinia was employed by RCA as a television tube assembler, retiring in the early 1980’s. She attended St. Anthony Catholic Church. Levinia was a great great great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Levinia is survived by 2 sons; Robert Dixon of Lancaster, and Carl Dixon husband of Carolyn of Lancaster. A daughter; Viola Pearson of Lancaster. 2 brothers; Raymond and Richard Cooper. A sister; Carolyn Curry. And many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons; Cleon and William H. Dixon.
A Christian Prayer Service will be held Friday, October 31, 2008 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home 414 E. King St. Lancaster 17602 at 11 a.m. with Rev William Small as celebrant. Friends and Family will be received before the service at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Interment will be at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.
