2 Cor.1: 3,4

Helen and I resort to this method of conveying our condolences since other activities made it impossible for us to join Shortie’s family and friends who gathered together this morning. My cousin Essie made a great decision in choosing Shortie as her life partner/spouse.  I gave a helping hand to Shortie just a couple of weeks ago at Jerry Miller’s funeral when he was experiencing difficulty arising from the chapel bench. He acknowledged that his knees no longer functioned too well and that other health issues were his to cope with. Better health was my wish to him at that time.

No more such difficult issues to deal with. May each family member be comforted by the Great Comforter!
