Kevin was a prince.
When I started at Lehigh County Children & Youth, he taught me about child welfare and helped me stay safe.
During the lock-out of 1980, we picketed, “Davey-teamed” and partied together.
When he helped me move into my row house, he called me “Land Baroness.”
I last talked to him at a party for friend and union-leader Dan.
In any setting, Kevin’s presence made things better.
With deepest sympathy,
Carol Barrett

So saddened to hear of Kevin’s passing and mad at myself that I waited too long to connect back with him – went to HS together and I remember being introduced to all his family. Truly a good and compassionate guy, along with his wit and enthusiasm for sports. So sad. We see once again that life is far too short. Will miss knowing you’re here Kevin. RIP. Debbie Barnak Burke

Hello Re, Bob, & Chris,
I worked with Kevin at the Lancaster County Office of Aging. I forget what year he left, but he did so before me & I got out of there in January 1995. It was Steve (he also worked there), Kevin, & I that did things together – eating out or going to the movies. A couple years ago we went to the Rosa Rosa jazz nights on Harrisburg Pike (this only lasted about a year & was in the building where Mean Cup is located). In the past year, we three went to the movies on Sept 12, Nov. 14, Jan. 20, & Jul. 7 (each year I keep a calendar of activities). Tonight, Steve & I are getting together to remember Kevin. We have talked on the phone in the last couple days about Kevin. We will greatly miss him. He was a GOOD friend to us. He always smiled and had entertaining stories, thoughts, or music to talk about. We have said to each other that we can’t imagine not being able to get together with Kevin. We are still sad about Kevin being gone, but then tonight we will smile as we talk about him and recall the times we three got together. Keith
