Kenneth C. Bell, 47
Kenneth “Kenny” C. Bell, 47, of Lancaster died Saturday evening after a 7 month battle with Lung Cancer.
He was a drywaller for HG Landis Drywall for many years.
Kenny enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the beach, bowling and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was an avid bicyclist. Kenny was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He loved his dog, a boxer named Jada. Kenny had a very kind heart toward homeless people and helped them whenever he could.
Born in Lancaster he was the son of Robert and Jacqueline Sener Carr of Lancaster.
Surviving besides his parents are four brothers and sisters: Justina, married to Robert Hall; Gary Bell; Dwayne Bell; and Amy, married to Eric Rivera, all of Lancaster; five nieces and nephews: Kerri, Nicholas, Joshua, Christian and baby Sophia; and one great nephew, Noah.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St., Lancaster on Friday at 11:00am. Friends may call at the church from 10:00am until 11:00am. Interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Water Street Rescue Mission, PO Box 7267, Lancaster, PA 17604 or to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
