Laurie and Linda,
Our deepest sympathy to you both. We had talked to Kay recently about our upcoming class reunion, and she was looking forward to attending. She was there in spirit, though, along with her pictures. Her sweet and quiet demeanor was always a source of calm, and what a wonderful artist she was. May memories of happier days sustain you.

Kay was a special lady. I knew Kay because she was a member of our Red Hat group, “Sassy Sisters.”
It was a pleasure to know Kay and enjoy her company in our many visits over the years. She was able to
visit us in The Villages where I moved a few years ago. It was fun. Kay will be missed but we know she is in a good place.
Sincerely, Debbie Boehler

My name is Kathy Regener, a caregiver from Home Instead Sen. Care. I was the one that made baked oatmeal for your Mom. I am so sorry for your loss. Laurie and Linda, you were obviously very on-top of your mother’s care, and chose to change over to more nursing care for your mother at just the right time. Kudos to you both! Blessings to you as your grieve your mother’s passing and have to work through all the various details. I know it’s hard, been there, done that, but somehow you seem to conjure up the strength to handle everything. It was such a blessing and a joy serving and getting to know your mother. Thank you for the privilege. God be with you at this crucial time. Your Mom made it very obvious that that’s who her faith was in! Kathy Regener mapamom@hotmail.com
