My profound saddness of the news of one of our own classmate Kathy, leaving us so soon, but giving us all great memories of the good old times, when we were so young without a care in the world, only to be reminded that our lives are so precious, and so short on this GOD given earth.
My heart goes out to all her family and friends who, had the pleasure to be a part of her life.
I share a poem with respect to  KATHY

                       GOD SAW YOU GETTING TIRED
AND THE CURE WAS NOT MEANT
                                TO BE

SO HE PUT HIS ARMS AROUND YOU
                        AND WISPERED COME TO ME

                           WITH FRIENDSHIP EYES
                                WE SAW YOU
                        BUT HEARD YOU PASSED AWAY

                       ALTHOUGH WE LOVED YOU DEARLY
WE COULD NOT MAKE YOU STAY

                      A GOLDEN HEART STOPPED BEATING
                           LOVING HANDS AT REST

GOD BROKE OUR HEARTS TO PROVE TO US
                           HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST

                    PRECIOUS MEMORIES, HOW THEY LINGER

KATHY MAY YOU REST IN PEACE, AND KNOW THAT YOU WERE LOVED BY SO MANY

Having lost touch over the years, Kathy had recently sent me her contact information to include in the reunion files and I was truly excited about reconnecting with her at our upcoming reunion. I am saddened that I have missed that opportunity.  Kathy, we will miss you and remember you during our reunion.

To Kathy’s family my deepest sympathies for your loss.

Dan Archibald
Classmate Lenape Class of 71
and Hillside Class of 67

To you and your family Kathy,  I am a classmate of Kathy’s.  We connected last year and I learned of her humanity efforts. We learned that we had similar interests.  My thoughts and prayers are with you, Richard and your family in this most sudden lost.  She will be missed by many but remember for her spirit of compassion and kindness.  She now begins a new journey as she continues on in spirit with her Creator.   There is a quote from Og Mandino… and I think this reflects Kathy’s soul and spirit…. "Do all things with love…"  She gave love from her heart and soul and blessed many along the way. I hope your lives with continue to feel her love.

Blessings of healing light,

Rick and family, I was so sorry to read of Kathleen’s death.  Too soon for you to lose her.  Know that God has his arms around you and the kids as you mourn your loss.  I will be thinking of you Tuesday.  I am sorry I cannot stop by as I have a prior commitment at 12.  You will be in my prayers.

Sincerely,
Kathy Spangler (former neighbor)

I was one of the "WOODS" kids as we all grew up together. I lost contact with Kathy over the years. From what I have heard and read recently, she never lost that kindness I remember as a kid. Knowing what I know now I feel blessed to have had the privilege to have grown up with Kathy. She has touched many hearts. Please know Your family are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless You all. We already know God has blessed Kathy.

God Bless

So sad to hear of your loss, you are all in my prayers.

Reconnecting with Kathy recently was a little gift from God, for me. Remembering fun times in ‘The Woods’ as kids, and hearing her speak of her traveling to help children, and of her family was fortunate for me. I know that she is with her parents now,in heaven, but for us down here it seems her time was cut short. I was looking forward to seeing her this summer at our Class Reunion.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Kathy’s entire family. Rest in Peace, Kathleen.

Sincerely,
Sandi Fontana

You will be greatly missed Kathy. We were all anxious to reconnect with you after seeing you on facebook. You touched many lives and there are many sad people today that have heard of your passing. Heaven will be a better place with you in it. To Kathy, her family, and friends,
Love and light…

Kathy,

I know you are with Mom and Dad.  I know you loved all your family; children, grandchildren, siblings, parents.  What you may not of known, is that, everyone loved you very much.  I am receiving allot of messages from your high school class mates mentioning that you were in touch with them recently.  They loved you too.  Everyone will miss you.  I have done what you have asked me to do.  I will be there for your children if they desire.  I know, as your sister, that you are where you want to be, with Mom.  Our recent conversations and the voice mail I received (and saved) from you, is warming to my heart.  We loved each other very much and we had many great times together.  I am thankful knowing that you are in heaven, with your God, your Mom, and your Dad. Rest in eternal life and peace Kathy.  Love from your sister,

Robin
