Julie Ann Shearer, 46

April 09, 2013

Julie Ann Shearer, 46, of Mount Gretna, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.

Born in Lancaster, she was the loving wife of Timothy Wolshire of Mt. Gretna, and the daughter of Lewis  and Bobbi (Vecero) Kauffman of Mountville.

She was employed as an Executive Secretary at Johnson & Johnson.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a daughter,  Jennifer Paige Shearer;  three sisters Eileen Dinkle, wife of Allan; Kathleen Zeamer, wife of Mark;  and Theresa Meisenbach wife of James, all of Columbia; and a brother, Lewis Kauffman Jr., husband of Deb, of Columbia.

She loved her daughter more than anything on this earth and enjoyed spending time with her; Jennifer was the light of her life.  She had the gift of lighting up a room just by walking in.  She had more brightness in her than a million light bulbs combined.  She had the ability to place a smile on everyone’s face just by being Julie.  If she couldn’t put a smile on someone’s face, than no one could.  She also looked forward to trying new adventures and experiencing the outdoors.  It didn’t matter what the adventure was, as long as it was being accomplished in the company of family and friends.  It could be from going to an auction to fine dining, she was an A-Z type of individual.   Julie was a fantastic loving mother, a wonderful wife, Tim felt privileged and honored to have her as his partner. Julie was someone who was willing to give along with being a terrific friend.  There is no doubt about it, You will be missed!   We all LOVE YOU!!

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30PM, Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA with Pastor Don Stoltz officiating. Mr and Mrs Kauuman, Jennifer, Tim and Julie’s 3 Sisters and Brother,

There are no words to make this loss bearable.  I am truly sorry Julie and your family had to go through this fight and bear this loss.   She truly was a remarkable person.  She made me smile on even my worst days. Everything she did in life was for Jennifer and she absuletly was the light of her life.  She was born to be Jennifer’s mommy and she was great at it.  I spent many years getting to know all of you even without meeting some of you.  We were each others sounding boards.  She was the most passionate person I have ever known.  When she was mad or irritated you knew it.  I would sometimes laugh…because I am the exact opposite of her. I envied her fire:)  She would say "Nicci, don’t laugh it’s not funny, I am really pissed." We would chat, sometimes cry and most importantly we always felt better.  The thing she did best was taking care of people as I am sure you all know.  She was my Jewel and I her sweet pea…  Those were our work pet names.  I am truly honored to call her a friend and a piece of my heart has gone with her.  Love to all of you now and forever.  Thank you for sharing her with me.  I will continue to pray for Jennifer and your family all the days of my life but I know in my heart she is now the brightest and prettiest guardian angel this earth has ever had.

Sincerely,
Nicci Pawelczyk

God bless you and bring you peace.  Julie was a beautiful person emanating from within.  She had a beautiful family.  I am so sorry for your tremendous loss.

Julie was the simplest the greatest co-worker and always had a smile and a pleasant greeting to everyone in the office.  Julie and I would have talks about God and her family whom she loved ever so much and would talk about them all the time.
I know that she is with Jesus, but she will be missed by all whose lives were touched by her.  I myself was battling cancer during the time that Julie was battling hers.  I was fortunate to be able to talk with her early in her fight and she had such a great attitude at that time and I knew that no matter what would happen, that the Lord was with her and was taking care of her.
Tim, Jennifer and the rest of Julie’s family you have my deepest sympathy and prayers as we mourn Julies loss, but share in the joy she is bringing to our Lord and Savior Jesus.
