Joyce I. Molloy, 75
Joyce I. Molloy, 75, of Lancaster, went to the Lord Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was the wife of the late John E. Molloy, Jr. who died in 1995. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Johnson Fagan.
Joyce graduated from Oxford High School. She was an office manager of Weis Markets in Bridgeport for 24 years. Joyce enjoyed knitting, reading, going to the movies, travelling and spending time with her grandchildren and her friends.
A loving mother and grandmother, Joyce is survived by her son Jason A., husband of Beth Snyder Molloy, and their children Alyssa, Jillian and Ty Molloy, all of Elizabethtown, her nephew Greg Fagan of Strasburg and one brother.
A Viewing will take place Thursday, August 25th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM and the funeral at 10:30 AM, with Pastor Dawn Groff officiating, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA. Interment in Georgetown United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Joyce’s memory to the American Heart Association, Lancaster Chapter, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603 or to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603. I got to know your mother through Larue Allen when she traveled to Rehoboth. Your mother was a very special lady and one who enjoyed life. I always enjoyed her visits to the beach. I know that Larue will miss her traveling buddy.
