Joshua Charles Kroh, 31

November 16, 2020

Joshua Charles Kroh, 31, returned to his heavenly home on November 16, 2020 after a valiant battle with addiction. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle.

Joshua was born to Beth Rovenolt and Jeff Kroh in Danville, Pa on July 11, 1989. He graduated in 2007 from Warwick High School, Lititz, PA. He attended Thaddeus Stevens College for Automotive Technology and received his certification in welding.

Joshua was blessed with a large and loving family. He was kind, loyal and loved his family with a tender heart. He was a talented artist able to freehand draw most anything that he put his mind to. He was a jack of all trades, with the ability to fix or repair machines and vehicles. He was meticulous with his tools and took pride in his organization. He was funny and could make you laugh with his antics. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.

Joshua is survived by his mother and step-father, Beth and Jeff Rovenolt; his father, Jeffrey Kroh; his sisters and brother, Sabrina and Natasha Rovenolt, Falynn Kroh and Dustin Kroh; grandparents, Margaret Conrad, Patricia Kroh, and George and Patricia Rovenolt. As well as fourteen aunts and uncles, and 32 cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Kroh and maternal grandfather, Steven Conrad Sr.

Joshua’s viewing will be on Tuesday, Nov. 24th from 9:30 to 11:30am at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 noon at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, PA 17543 with Fr. James O’Blaney as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Witness Park, Rothsville and Pierson Rd, Lititz, PA 17543.

Joshua Kroh was my roommate for over two months while we were both clients at Gatehouse Mountville….:'( Josh was my best friend….he is the only reason i was able to complete the program, he had my back….I will forever miss him…I hope that if any of the kroh family wishes to reach out, they will…i know i heard stories of how him and his sisters would laugh whenever he would tell them stories of mine and his antics. the joy in his smile and the light in his heart was what kept me going most days. please feel free to contact me on facebook.

To the dear family…. you don’t know me, but when I read of your loss, I wanted to extend my condolences. Thank you for including that he was a man of faith…. too many believe that those who pass in addiction must not have had enough of faith, and this just is not true. I lost my dear  sister at the age of 43 in 2017 after she struggled most of her life with addiction….she loved the Lord and I know that she and your loved one are with Him and finally at peace. I pray that you also will find His peace as you mourn
