Josephine Shively, 85

Josephine Shively, 85, of Lancaster, peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on February 19, 2019. Born in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Walter C. Isaacson and Sarah (Wilman) Isaacson-DeArmy.
Josephine retired from RCA, where she worked as an inspector, after over 40 years of employment. Following her retirement, she was able to focus on her hobbies like bowling and golfing. Josephine was a member of Evergreen Golf Course and would go golfing every day with her husband, the late Wilfred Shively. Josephine loved spending time with her large family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was extremely important to her and she cherished the time she had to spend with them.
Surviving are Josephine’s three daughters; Donna Collins and husband Butch of Mt, Joy, Tina White and husband Randy of Bluegrass, IA, and Roberta Graybill of Elizabethtown. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Donald Smith and Wilfred Shively, and brothers Robert and Charles Isaaccson.
Friends and family are invited to Funeral Services on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00am at Wayside Presbyterian Church located at 600 Stony Battery Rd., Landisville, PA 17538. Guests will be received prior to the service starting at 10:00am. Interment will take place following events at the church at Laurel Hill Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Hospice & Community Care at 685 Good Drive, Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
