John F. Enright III, 67

John F. Enright III, 67, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday at Lancaster General Hospital following his battle with brain cancer.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of late John F. Jr. and Mary Stoll Enright. He was married to Lorraine M. Fossedahl Enright, with whom he celebrated their 48^th wedding anniversary this past December 10^th.

John was the founder and president of Wire-Mesh Products, a manufacturer of wire belts, in York, PA.

He was a die-hard Notre Dame fan and had not missed watching or listening to a Notre Dame football game since the infamous 0-0 tie in 1946 against Army.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his sister, Terry  married to William Catching of East Berlin NJ; his son, John F. IV  married to Vicki Enright of Lancaster; 3 daughters, all of Lancaster: Kristine  married to Dr. Randall H. Platon, Linda married to Richard Riva, and Victoria married to Dustin Carl.; and 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at a viewing at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Wednesday from 7-9PM, and again on Thursday from 9-10:30AM, with a Christian Prayer Service to follow at 10:30AM.

There will be a second viewing at the Sudak-Danaher Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May, NJ on Friday from 6-8PM, and again on Saturday from 8:30-9:30AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10AM from Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, 525 Washington St., Cape May, NJ, with interment in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery to follow.
