Joan I. Schoener, 75

Joan I. Schoener, 75, of Lancaster, PA, formerly of Randolph, NJ passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Hospice of Lancaster County Mt. Joy. She was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late John and Eunice (Little) Kidd.

Her husband, Frederick C. Schoener preceded her in death in 2001. They were married for forty-nine years.

Joan was a member and a Stevens Minister with Highland Presbyterian Church.

She was an Executive Secretary for Warner-Lambert for twenty plus years.

Joan enjoyed gardening, shopping, reading, traveling, spending time with her family, and going on cruises.

She is survived by a son, Steven F. Schoener, former husband of Joan H. Schoener, of Budd Lake, NJ, son, Frederick C. Schoener, Jr., of Budd Lake, NJ, daughter, Lisa S. Garner, wife of Daniel T.,of Lancaster, PA, five grandchildren, Jennifer Schoener, Caren Thomas, Dawn Schoener, Steven Schoener, Megan Garner, six great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Shirley Gaudioso.

Relatives and friends are respectively invited to attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 10:30am from the Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Route 10 West Randolph, NJ 07869. Visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home from 9-10:30am. Interment will take place at Restland Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County 685 Good Drive PO Box 4125 Lancaster, PA 17604 or to Highland Presbyterian Church attn: Memorial Fund 1801 Oregon Pk.
