We will miss Pappy VERY much. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers. We know he is not suffering now & in a much better place. All our love to the family.
Bill, Tammy, Amber, Bethany, & Billy

To our loving father, We will miss you dearly.  You were the one we could count on most. We will miss our weekly phone calls saying you made corn soup or potato soup or just to hear you say, what are you doing?  Most of all, Sheila will miss hearing you call her "Skinny".  I will think of you every Thursday when Smallville comes on, we would watch that together every week. We know that you are happy in Heaven with nanny and pappy. You are probably sitting there eating crabs and fishing at the same time.  I just picture Jerebear sitting beside you with a fishing rod in his hands and you both look so peaceful. As much as it hurts that you are not here, we know that you are no longer in pain and that you are where you belong.  You are in the hands of God, your father. We love you and will always miss you.
Love always, your daughters, Sherry and Sheila

Jerry, one of my most favorite co-workers at the Marietta ceiling plant. You are at peace and in no pain now Jerry so have your fill on as many crabs and corn on the cob with as much butter as you would like. Also do a little fishing too.
Your friend forever Paul Abernethy

Just wanted to say that Jerry was a great man, and his name will live on. Dawn I’m so sorry that pap left us but he’s in a better place no more pain. I love you dawny.
Yours truly your grandson Mike
