 Mrs. Wilson and Jodi,
After praying for the both of you, and Jeff’s wife and sons, I realized that I have been richly blessed. I can say that your son, and Jodi your brother, was a fellow, Summit Baptist Academy, childhood friend. Every single “privilege” we got at school (commonly know as recess), was spent playing football (my favorite), soccer (Jeff’s favorite), or “King of the Hill” during the winter months. I will say, Jeff rarely lost playing King of the Hill either, he had really strong base! Jeff excelled in everything he did, but always with that grin, (not sure what side of the family that came from) and always with a good, Christ-like spirit. Jeff’s life can easily be characterized by many positive and godly aspects, but three stand out to me. The three Life Characteristics actually come from our childhood church program….AWANA! The theme verse, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (I Timothy 2:15) Jeff, without a doubt, lived his life and did his best, knowing that God was pleased with him. From what I remember of Jeff, he wasn’t ashamed of living a godly life or living some kind of “secret service” Christianity. And finally, being raised around SBA/BBC and having a sincere, godly Father, Mother and Sister, Jeff could teach the truths of God’s Word accurately and in the right way. May God richly bless all of you this coming weekend, as with heavy hearts and eyes filled with tears, you announce to your mission field, Christ Jesus is the Savior of the world who rose from the dead Victoriously! And, as our Savior lives, so does Jeff. And not metaphorically or philosophically either…..but as Jeff is absent from his earthly body, he now lives with Christ, forever glorified “like Him”.                                                                     In Christ,                                                                                                                              “Ronnie” German

Jen,
I am saddened to read of Jeff’s passing. The last time I saw both of you, you both were so upbeat and Jeff was so pleasant and smiling when we talked, even though I know he must have been exhausted. I will keep you and your sons in my prayers. I am sorry I will not be at either service this weekend but I will be out of town. I will be with you in spirit and you know where Jeff is and he is at peace, free from his earthly suffering. One day we will all meet again. God will comfort you and give you strenght in the difficult days ahead. Jen, just ask and God will answer your prayers.
Sincerely, Linda Lautsbaugh

Jennifer, Tyler & Austin,
You are in my thoughts and prayers during these difficult days and my prayer is that God will give you added strength.  Jeff was a wonderful person and a great coworker and he always had a word to say about his Lord and Savior.  We don’t understand Gods timing and reason; but we do know that he had something bigger and better for Jeff.  I will always remember the last day, last Friday, when i saw him.  He was so weak as he cleaned out his desk; but when we talked about Disney World and riding roller coasters he got the biggest smile on his face and that was the first I had seen him smile for a long time.  I know those were great memories for him.  He has been a wonderful husband and father to all of you and I know you will thoroughly miss him.  He said on Friday that his desire would be that people will accept the Lord through all of this and that is my prayer that a great revival with come to LGH.  I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the service because we are leaving for vacation on Saturday morning.  May God bless all of you.  Love & Prayers – Jean Grover.

Words cannot express my sorrow for your family’s loss. Jeff was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by this co-worker and others at LGH that he worked with.
In my role as the OR Buyer, Jeff and I developed a working friendship and grew closer at the death of his father. Having lost my own father some years back—-I listened and supported his loss, offering solace from my perspective.
Jeff will be missed by those whose lives he touched in whatever fashion. I will miss my work friend, but know that he is in a better place, free from his illness. I know in my heart that he will continue to watch over you all and be with you as you move forward.Thoughts and prayers for your family
