Jean Keller, 87

Norma Jean Keller (Dissinger), 87, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. A lifelong resident of Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Minnie (Davidson) Dissinger and the wife of the late Jack L. Keller.

Jean was a graduate of Lititz High School. She was employed for many years at both Beford Shoe and Badorf Shoe, where she retired. Jean cherished time spent with family. She also enjoyed bowling, shopping, trips to the casino, John Wayne, and her “soaps”.

She was a dedicated member of the Lititz United Methodist Church. Jean is survived by 2 children: Kurt Keller and Karen, wife of Ted Gennett. Jean is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Gwendolyn, wife of James Armstrong; Heather Robison; Kent Keller; Jaclyn, wife of Kevin Brendle; Renee, wife of Christopher Hartwell; Jennifer, wife of Randy Archer. Her 8 great-grandchildren: Kylie, Kyle, Colten, Nevaeh, Lilah, Kurtis, Presley, and Cason brought her much joy. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kent Keller, husband of June Keller (Bartholomew).

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Spacht-Snyder Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 127 S. Broad St., Lititz, PA 17543. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home from 9AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private. Jean’s favorite color was purple; guests are encouraged to wear purple or cheerful colors. Flowers will be accepted at the funeral home.
