We will miss Jim, he was a great friend and neighbor.  Jim was one of the kindest, generous people I have ever had the privilege knowing.  His passing is a great loss to our neighborhood and community.  He took great pride in his yard and home.  I will miss our talks on his back porch.  He was so kind to our daughter, playing games with her when she was little and letting her enjoy his swing on a summer day.   We could not ask for better neighbors than the Farmers and have been lucky to know Jim.  Our sympathy goes out to Shriley, Mike, Vicki and their families.

We will miss our wonderful neighbor and friend for the past 40 years.  Jim always had a smile and would stop to talk with you anytime we were out in the yard.  He was the first and fastest one out in the winter time with his snow blower to do your yard or a neighbors yard.  He was usually the first one to mow his yard and then you had to mow yours so your lawn wouldn’t look so bad!  Years ago he would play Santa Claus at the Rothsville Fire Company’s family Christmas party.  He would bring his little black poodle and the kids would love to visit Santa and his puppy.  We do think the puppy was more popular than Santa some years!!  Jim was a wonderful craftsman too.  He built us three wooden display shelves which were admired by everyone.  If you couldn’t find Jim in the yard, he was in his workshop.  He always had to be doing something or going someplace.  After his retirement, he so enjoyed working for both Mike and Vickie’s companies as it kept him busy. We will miss you Jim in our live and neighborhood.
