James L. Shillow Jr.
James L. Shillow Jr. after an extended illness passed away on February 5, 2008 at the age of 84 at home.
A longtime resident of Lancaster County he was retired from Hamilton Technologies. He was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School. He also served in the Merchant Marines during World War II.
He was the son of James and Loretta G. Shillow. He will be lovingly missed by his wife Phyllis Z. Shillow and his sister Loretta (Tootie) Bender. He is survived by his daughter Phyllis Spangler of Naples, FL and his son James L. Shillow III and wife Rose. He is also survived by four grandchildren Michael and Lance Eckert and Rene Arthur and Noel Shaw and four great grand children.
Internment will be private and at the families convenience. Contributions in his memory may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, P. O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604. Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 560-5100.

Jim III and Phyillis Spangler,I’m sorry to hear your father passed away. My thoughts are with both of you and your families. My father passed away at 84 last March. I guess it’s their season. I often think back to good old Solanco and the Host Farm. Hope all is going well with both of you……

So sorry to hear of Jims death, I can remember when we camped together at North 40 and always had a good time. Phi, has been gone for 13 years now and he and Jim can say hi once again.
