James “Jim” L. Brendel, 75 of Quarryville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at Lancaster General Hospital on Friday, March 6, 2020, with his wife by his side.

Jim was an active member of the New Life Assembly of God where he and Rose attended services. He and Rose enjoyed thrift shopping together, collecting vintage items for display in their home. He enjoyed some sports like Nascar, baseball, and football.
Jim is survived by four children: Ginger Urban of Ephrata, PA, Misty Snyder, of Adamstown, PA, Tina Sweigart Egan of Stevens, PA, and Travis Witmer of Hanover, PA; Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services for Jim will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 1pm at the Swamp Cemetery, in Reinholds, with Pastor Moses Baker officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to help defray the cost of services. They may be made to Charles F.
