It was a pleasure to have known Ida, and she will be missed!  We remember her fondly in the following ways.  It was she who bought the holly and azalea bushes that are planted in the front gardens at FM.  It was she who loved to water the flowers and bought her favorites to add to the beds, especially osteopermums and salvia.  Everyone requested her deviled eggs at Bingo and the Carry-In dinners.  And too, she loved sharing pictures and telling stories of her grandchildren.  Our thoughts are with you!  Sincerely, John, Linda & Chris (FM)

Dear Cindy, Bruce and family,  We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, Ida.  We sure had many great times in Lincoln Park and I certainly spent many hours at your mom’s house playing, laughing and having many wonderful childhood memories.  I remember sitting at your kitchen counter bar talking with Ida.  She had many beautiful flowers in the back yard.  She was a jolly lady and smiled alot.  Our hearts go out to you all on the loss of your Mother.  Sincerest Sympathies,  Linda and Tom Landis

Dear Cindy and Family, Please accept my sincere sympathy on the passing of your mother. Idie,as we always called her, was my cousin and I have many happy memories of time spent at Aunt Mary and Uncle Ez’s farm. I am recovering from the flu so I will be unable to bring my sister, Doris who lives in Palmyra to the service. She wanted to be present as they were close cousins in their younger years. Please give your Aunt Mary my condolences and greeting. Our thouights and prayers are with you.  Phyllis Creswell Stone

We are so heartbroken we will no longer hear Ida’s distinct voice and amazing smile! My Nan loved her so much and enjoyed many talks on the porch at Brethern Village. We had the pleasure of meeting her beloved Nick. She was a sweet women, and we are blessed to have her at BV for so many years.
