Herbert T. “Teddy” Barnard, Jr., 64

Herbert T. “Teddy” Barnard, Jr, passed away peacefully at our home with his beloved Tucker dog at his feet on November 3, 2017. Born in Boston, MA, he was 64 years old. He was the most loving husband and my best friend. Together, we would have celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary on November 8th.
Herb had his own business in Rochester, NY until 2007, after which we moved to Lancaster to work at Novelty Manufacturing Company. He was a Mechanical Engineer by profession, but was truly a Jack of all Trades. He had a curious mind, was an innovator and loved being a problem solver. The depth and breadth of Herb’s knowledge was remarkable.
He was an avid reader, golfer and a loyal Buffalo Bills fan. He enjoyed gardening, and had an appreciation for good coffee, music of all genres and XL Hershey’s Special Dark chocolate bars.
Herb is survived by his wife, Pamela MacLeod Barnard, his 3 children, Lindsay, (Brendan), Christopher, (Tahnee), and Stephanie; and 3 grandchildren, Norah, Reid and Connor. He also leaves behind his sisters, Susan Barnard and Jane Corvino.
