Condolences to the Family

My deepest sympathy to Bob & Don and their families. Your mom & dad grew up with my parents and they enjoyed life together as good friends. I have fond memories of your dad with his humorous stories & my parents always had stories to tell about your dad too. I will never  forget the story my mom told me about your dad in grade school on his bike & he needed air in his tires. He went to put air in his tires not checking the gauge & as a result, his pants blew off and one of his sister’s ran home shouting Henry got shot! I can just imagine what Mr. Dorwart’s mom thought! He was just naturally comical and that is what I loved about him. He had spunk & there was never a dull moment! Now, I can only imagine what’s going on now in Heaven cause your dad is up there now & my dad is asking, Henry what took you so long? May he rest now with his Maker & join your mom & his friends! Thank God in Heaven, he has a sense of humor! I will keep you in my prayers.  Patty Sabatine

Much love goes out to Don, Bob and their families.  We wish we could be there for all of you, but are unable to attend -Melody, because of work, and myself, due to sickness.  I had planned on coming up from Charlotte with brother Tom, and although not there physically, am surely there with you in spirit.  Know that I will always cherish my very special Godfather, Uncle Heney, as will my sister, Donna, who also had the honor of sharing Uncle Heney as Godfather.  His wonderful sense of humor was one of the great highlights of my childhood, and his infectious laugh that brought joy to us all will remain with me always.  I miss you and your famililies, and rememeber your Mom, Aunt Flossie as well, now in communion with your Dad!  ….Bob Parker

When I came to Armstrong from Miichigan in 1964, Hen and Flossie practically adopted me. Flossie and I worked in the PR Department.  I was single, a stranger in Lancaster … and Hen and Flossie looked out for me. Then I had the good fortune to work with their son, Don, for several years in Armstrong’s Advertising Department.  I am a better person because of my relationships with the Dorwart family.  RIP, Hen.

Peg and I are sorry we cannot come to Pennsylvania for Henry’s service. He was dearly loved by Peg and I. Peg will always have wonderful memories of her best buddy and big brother. Henry was always there for her. I m going to miss him as well. He always called me “Bill” because of my last name. I only knew him for a short while and also have good memories. We send our condolences to the family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
