Harold “Harry” M. Baughman, 70

April 10, 2015

Harold M. Baughman, 70, of Lancaster, died on Friday, April 10, 2015, at Hospice & Community Care, Mt. Joy. Born in Chambersburg to the late D. Merle and Marie (Booz) Baughman, he was the loving husband of Donna (Sell) Baughman.
Harry earned his Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at Penn State University and took many courses in math and science at Franklin and Marshall College. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for RCA.
Harry was a charter member of Lampeter Church of the Brethren where he served faithfully. Many knew him as “Harry Who,” the magician; he entertained children of all ages for many years. Harry had an enthusiasm for life, and enjoyed camping with his family and especially with his grandson, Dakoda. He also loved to garden and ride his bicycle whenever he had the opportunity.
In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by his daughter, Janice Darlington, wife of Kevin, of Manheim and his grandson, Dakoda Darlington, also of Manheim.
Funeral Services for Harry will be held at 11AM on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Lampeter Church of the Brethren, 1900 Lampeter Rd., Lampeter, PA 17537 with the Rev. John Hostetter officiating. Family and friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Harry’s name may be made to Lampeter Church of the Brethren, P.O. Box 38, Lampeter, PA 17537.

Harry’s endless smile, ability to find the good in every situation, and friendliness will always be remembered at Formula Fitness.  He was a positive force – the heart of our spin classes!  We will miss him and his kind spirit…
Donna and Janice – so sorry for your loss.  Harry always made it clear how much you both meant to him! Donna, he spoke lovingly about you and how you took care of each other, and Janice he requested Bon Jovi music in class because it made him think of you. Thanks for sharing him with us and our spin family all of these years…        Cris Forney
