H. Sean Higgins, 43

H. Sean Higgins, 43, of Manor Twp., died unexpectedly at Lancaster General Hospital on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. He was born in Lancaster to Carole Whitmeyer Stager of Lebanon and the late Hugh J. Higgins, Jr. Sean was the husband of Sherry Cogan Higgins for 20 years.
A 1992 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School, he was a machine operator for RR Donnelley for 20 years and currently worked on the assembly line of Johnson & Johnson.
Sean was a good hearted son, husband and father. He played ice hockey for the Ice Dogs and Chiefs and with his daughter Madison. He enjoyed throwing washers with daughter Jordan and watching wrestling with daughter Riley. Sean played the guitar for “Asparagus Poop” and he had his black belt in Isshin-ryῡ. He loved daughter Jordan’s college, Marshall University. Sean enjoyed cooking and rooting for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Seattle Seahawks.
In addition to his wife Sherry and mother Carole, Sean is survived by 3 daughters: Jordan N. Higgins, Madison C. Higgins and Riley J. Higgins all of Lancaster; 2 sisters: Cathy, wife of Matthew Ruth and their daughters Lexi Ruth and Makenna Ruth all of Lititz and Terri, wife of William Wallace, Sr. and their sons William Wallace, Jr and his daughter Adrianna Wallace, and Nicholas Wallace all of Lancaster; and his stepmother Susan Higgins of Lancaster.
A viewing will take place 6 to 8 PM Monday, April 2, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA 71551. Feel free to wear something in memory of Sean. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Penn Manor Ice Hockey Club, P.O. Box 74, Millersville, PA 17551. Interment is private.

To Sherry and girls, Your dad was a great friend and neighbor. We all just stood outside and shovel this last snow storm. Always got a kick out of him mowing and having a beer with him. He wil be missed by you and all his friends . Anything we can do please let us know. Diana and Leon Nauman
