Gloria Lynette Wiggins, 45

June 15, 2019

Gloria Lynette Wiggins was the youngest of five children born to David Sr and the late Mindy “Duchess”Wiggins. Gloria was born on April 8,1974, in Montclair New Jersey. Gloria was raised and educated in East Orange, New Jersey. While attending high school, Gloria played trumpet, tuba, & the mellophone in the East Orange high school marching 100 band. After completing school Gloria entered the bustling workforce. She enjoyed working in various arenas in the retail industry. Gloria served many clients as a sales associate, floor supervisor, and manager. However, her most rewarding job was that of being a mother.

Bryan Amir Wiggins was born on March 21,1997. This new, very proud mommy focused on loving and providing for Bryan from that day forth. April 22,2002, Bryanna Amani Wiggins arrived on the scene. Bryan graciously and generously shared the spotlight with his little sister.

To provide a better life for her children, Gloria made a bold decision. Without fear, family, or friends, in October 2016, she packed up Bryan and Bryanna and moved to Lancaster Pennsylvania. They acquired their first home here. New home, new job, a fresh new start for her family.

As thankful and proud Gloria was of her children, one more person would enter her heart and provide even more love. Jayden Armani Wiggins born April 18, 2018, would now crown Gloria as,”GiGi”. Without hesitation Jayden took center stage.

Through her actions Gloria taught her children to be strong, courageous, and self-reliant. Belief in yourself, hard-work, and discipline were valuable lessons instilled into her children. Family unity was a core value of Gloria’s. At a moments notice she was ready to address any issue concerning any family member.

Not one to complain, Gloria would maneuver the pieces of life’s puzzle into a beautiful picture. Those that knew her describe her as fearless, generous, loving, and funny. Her spirit can be summed up into three words,”A Phenomenal Woman “.

After being diagnosed with both pancreatic and liver cancer in January 2019, Gloria began the hardest battle of her young life. On June 15,2019, God sent his angels to embrace Gloria and bring her home. She is now reunited with her mother and many other beloved relatives. It is with sorrowful hearts that we say farewell (for now). We will be with you again someday. We love you now and always.

Gloria leaves to mourn, her father David Wiggins, Sr, son, Bryan Wiggins (Crystal), daughter, Bryanna Wiggins, grandson Jayden Wiggins, siblings Tina Wardlaw, Regina Scarborough (Gary), David Wiggins,Jr, James Wiggins, and Kimberly Wiggins, aunts Christine, Gloria, Frances, Hazel, uncles Roy and Nigel, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers.

Gloria is now an angel. An angel to watch over her family. We will always love you Gloria Lynette Wiggins, aka- Mommy-Daughter-Sister and friend.
