Miss neidlinger. Hey you’re my teacher in 1983-84 the 5th grade at Noah Webster School in Hartford. I was stubborn and recalcitrant, yet talented and you fostered my intellect and maintained your elegance when I acted out. Thank you for your guidance and patience with shaping the man I am now. I am a chef, published writer, musician and artist. I never thanked you. I’m sorry. Rest well. Erroll Brantley

Gloria Neidlinger was my beloved First Grade teacher at Ridge-Brook Elementary in 1961. She loved her students and was committed to being an excellent model of community service. She was resilient, cheerful, dedicated, and rose to the task for her kids, sometimes under adverse conditions. She was so good. I won’t forget her. Thank you, Miss Neidlinger.

I am so sorry to only find out about this now, 5 months later. It is very sad. We would often have some holiday celedration togeter, perhaps the most recent was Easter. I enjoyed her company; I met her through my mother who also used to be part of the Walking Tour in Lancaster. RIP Gloria. Judith Fisher
