Glenn E. Neill, 69

Glenn E. Neill, 69, of Lancaster passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at Hospice & Community Care in Mt. Joy. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Earl and Pauline (Fetter) Neill. He was the husband of Cindy Murch with whom he shared over 5 years of marriage.
He worked for RR Donnelley, United Twine Paper and most recently retired from the Manheim Auto Auction.
Glenn proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he received several medals for his service.
He was an avid softball player, participating in fast pitch for the Rec League Playground, Red Rose League, Lancaster Rec Men’s League and the Lancaster City Church league spanning over 29 years. Glenn was an avid Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Sixers fan. He enjoyed watching all sports on TV and was a Jeff Gordon fan. Glenn loved making people laugh and loved playing blackjack and poker in Atlantic City. He also loved to go out to eat and go on picnics with friends and family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Christina Cunningham, of Ephrata, Nicole Chavez, Michael Neill, both of Lancaster; stepson, Christopher Patterson, of Columbia; one grandchild and two step-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Karen Fetterman wife of Rodger of Shellsburg, PA and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Glenn will be held at 11:30AM on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 10:30-11:30AM at the funeral home on Monday.
