Glenn E. Hake, 83

Glenn E. Hake died peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the age of 83.
Glenn is survived by Frances, his wife of 64 years; four sons, Gregory B. Hake and wife, Deborah of Mount Wolf, Garry D. Hake of York, Brian S. Hake, and Bradley A. Hake and wife, Teresa of Dillsburg; and daughter, Shauna M Fritsch and husband, Allen of Morrice, MI. In addition to his children, Glenn is survived by six granddaughters, Donna, Felicia, Janelle, Amber, Brandi, Devon; two grandsons, Dylan and Jordan; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brother, Spurgeon E Hake; and sister, Joyce M Moffitt. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Carroll E Hake and Dale L Hake.
Glenn was born on January 19, 1934 in Dover Twp. to Spurgeon L and Beatrice Hake.
Glenn was a Pipe Fitter for the Local 520 for 30 years. He was a member of the Church of the Open Door, York. He was an avid hunter, enjoying time at the family hunting camp in Clinton County.
A memorial service is to be held in honor of Glenn at the Church of the Open Door, 8 Carlisle Ct, York, on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 1 p.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Glenn’s life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17604. He will be interred at Salem Union Cemetery.
