Condolences to the Family

July 09, 2016

Hello, I’m Lucy Burton and my mother was Lil Wynn Pierce. She died 2 years ago and I’m sitting going through her phone book. She had favorite friends, Ellie and Glenn Elliott, that she lost contact as dementia set in. The note she wrote (she was very detail oriented) was “Not in service at this time” and “ask Lucy”. I know Ellie’s daughter was Janet because Mother always spoke of her highly. I was so sad to find Mr Elliott’s obituary when I Googled the names. If I’m writing the wrong family, I’m so sorry. I decided not to but Mother would want me to reach out to Ellie. I’m so sorry for your loss. If possible, please let Ellie know her friend, Lil, never forgot her and lost touch because dementia made answering or dialing the phone difficult and mail was not sent or opened. She’d be upset now reading about Mr Elliott.
