Condolences to the Family

I worked with Dr Fahs in pathology for years.   He was there when I first started as a young woman.  He was always a kind and extremely patient man.  I’m so sorry to hear that he passed away.  I always will remember him saying “give me a break”.   I know how much he loved his family and so sorry for your loss.

Dear Berit,
Jerry will be remembered with great fondness. George looked forward to daily walks with him.  Our Grandson would tag along on the walks. Jerry was a true friend and will be missed by all who knew him. Jerry and George arrived in heaven on the same day.

Jerry, gentle and kind, left a wonderful legacy for the many years he headed the LGH pathology department. He was always so accommodating, never hesitiating to take the time to help me or my residents, especially when we needed him to be there at our conferences. Nik Zervanos

I am a retired family physician who knew him first as a resident in training and then as a local physician. Gerald was fine man to know and appreciated his conscientious, friendly and most competent attitude. Bill Parke

My deepest sympathy to Berit and all Of Jerry’s family. I was lucky enough to have worked with him over the years at Lancaster General Hospital and his thoughtful consultations were always appreciated. I enjoyed even more having breakfast with him occasionally with out retired doctor group, the Grumps.
