My heart goes out to daughters, Margaret and Katherine. I experienced kindness more than 50 years ago when delivering newspapers. Their mother called me in out of the zero-degree cold to warm up in her kitchen and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. I went home and told my grandparents, Paul and Marion Neidemeyer. We admired all of the Hagers but Elise, Margaret and Katherine’s mother was my favorite.
