I just wanted to say how much I appreciated Uncle Gene, and the way he always thought of others. He and Aunt Evelyn always thought of my mom, and they took her along on trips with them-trips she never would have had otherwise.
They always included her in holiday meals, if we weren’t having her for some reason.
Uncle Gene was always so kind, and was so glad if I stopped by. He would just stop whatever he was doing and talk and laugh with me. I regret not having stopped by lately, but maybe he was feeling too bad anyway. I pray that he is now with Jesus in Paradise. He certainly merits that reward.
Love, Melanie
