Kay was one of the Smoketown Vet family.  We had get togethers and lots of laughs.  Despite the constant pain burdening her, she always had a beautiful smile and a kind sparkle in her eye for all, not to mention a contagious laugh!  Her compassion was unsurpassed.  Rest in peace, dear Kay.  You will fondly remain close to my heart.

September 27, 2017

Aunt Kay dated my uncle for some time. She was an integral part of our family. As a teenager, she joked about giving me her Ford Tempo. She taught my grandma what a ‘Hurricane’ was from a popular country song. And she always kept us laughing. Even after they parted, I saw her often and always knew she loved and cared about me. I’m so saddened by her loss. I hope her family knows she was very important to me and knowing her made me a better person .
