Eleanor C. Beltz, 78
Eleanor C. Beltz, 78, of Lancaster, formerly of North Wales, PA passed away unexpectedly at her residence on December 15, 2008. She was born in Madison, NJ on July 20, 1930 to the late Lewis S. and Evalyn A. Chateau Gibbs.
Eleanor was the wife of the late S. John Beltz who preceded her in death on December 21, 1992. They celebrated 35 years of marriage together.
Eleanor served many companies as an executive bookkeeper and most recently worked in sales for the Bedstead.
Eleanor was involved in the Red Hat Society and the Lancaster Angel Club. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church where she was involved with the church choir.
She is survived by one daughter; Deborah E. Evans wife of Robert D. “Robin”, of Lancaster, two grandchildren Zachariah J. Evans husband of Zoe of Morris, Ill and Jonah S. Evans of Lancaster, a sister Dorothy A. Gibbs of Lancaster and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Gibbs, Ralph Gibbs, Jerry Gibbs and a sister Evalyn Nichols.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Faith United Methodist Church, 1290 Fruitville Pk Lititz, PA 17543 on Saturday December 20, 2008 at 10:30am with the Rev. Bruce Lefever officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private and will take place at White Marsh Memorial Park of Ambler, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Eleanor’s memory may be made to Faith United Methodist Church at the above address. Arrangements made by Charles F.
