Condolences to the Family

Dear Ruth, Tammy and Family,
We learned of Ed’s death through the Prayer Chain of Hamilton Park UCC Church.  We were very saddened by the news and we are sorry that we could not attend the funeral.  We enjoyed Ed’s participation in our adult Sunday School class and we always looked forward to seeing Ed and Ruth at the Fulton, the Lancaster Community Concerts at Mennonite HS and he really enjoyed the lecture series at Trinity Lutheran Church.  As a matter of fact, he inspired us to attend the lecture series as well.  He surely will be missed.

Hi Ruthie and family
may you be comforted by the many warm thoughts and memories you shared. Ed and I worked together in the police department for many years, I always found him as a professional, a individual who truely demonstrated that he loved the job and the people we served. It was an honor to serve with him. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Take care

Ruthie,  I was so sorry to read of Ed’s passing.  I want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Although I have know your husband for  over 60 years I can’t say that I knew him well.  I can say that I always enjoyed being in his company.  He had a quiet warmth about him that made one like to be with him.  I thought his personality was perfect for his police career in that he inspired trust and was a calming influence. I am saddened that I can no longer look forward to seeing him at our class functions.  He will be missed.
                                  warmest regards—Don Carter
