Hollie, Kelly and Laurie:

My deepest condolences to you and your families.  I was deeply saddened to hear of Hank’s passing.  I just talked with him the other week after returning from the ICI meeting.  He lived life to the fullest.  He was a devoted Husband and father; it was inspirational to see how loyal he was to his family.  The first time, I met Hank; a hurricane was coming up the coast causing flights to be cancelled.  Hank invited me to his house even though he just met me and was throwing a dinner party; he was an excellent cook and outstanding host.  He will be truly missed by all.  I will keep you in my prayers; rest assured he is in a better place, smiling more than ever before.

Jim and Lisa Wright

Dear Holly and Kelly,

I am deeply saddened and shocked by the news of Hank.

Hank was a motivator, teacher, friend and a father figure to me.He was always a phone call or email away from help. He invited and let me stay at his house for 6 months even though I barely knew him.

For me Hank was one of the best I met. A TRUE GENTLEMAN. Thank you for all the help given to me.

May he rest in peace.
Rakesh Mallipeddi (India) & all his friends in India.

Our deepest condolences

My family and I were so saddened to hear that Hank had passed away.  We knew him through Highland Presbyterian Church.  Years ago, church had a bagpiper begin the service.  There, in the pew sat Hank and Judy — Hank with a kilt on!  He was such a character and made everything he did seem fun.  He had a real joy that was contagious.  Several years ago he accompanied a mission trip from our church to El Salvador.  My children went on that trip.  One of their favorite pictures was of Hank performing blood pressure checks at the free clinic.  It was hot and steamy that day and I think Hank had just minutes before learned how to do bp’s.  That didn’t stop him.  He tied a bandana around his head, pumped up the cuff, entertained the children who were waiting for their parents and dove in.  That’s the kind of guy he was.  He had a generous soul.  May he be greeted in heaven with all the gusto he showed to all who knew him here on earth.  Yours, Kathleen Shuman

On behalf of the Stephen Ministers of Highland Presbyterian Church, we’d like to extend our deepest sympathies to Hank’s surviving family. Please know that you’ll be in our thoughts and prayers. Take comfort in knowing that others care for you. May God bless and keep you all in His loving arms.
Sincerely,
The Stephen Ministers of Highland Presbyterian Church

I was deeply saddened to learn of Hank’s untimely departure form us.   He was a very special person, and I feel truly priveledged to have known him, both professionally and personally.  For us outside the US, he epitomised all that is great within USA, and I know I speak for all at VA Tech is expressing our sense of joy in having known him and we are sure he has taken his sense of fun to a far higher place.

Thank you and God Bless

Jim, and all at VA Technology Ltd

It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. (John 13:1 NIV)

I read this passage the week after Hank’s passing and it perfectly discrbes how Hank lived his life, loving others. He loved us last in February when we visited him in Venice, cooking for us, walking on the beech with us. He loved me by calling from the hospital to tell me of his surgery. He lived Jesus greatest commandment, love God and love others.

Hank you inspired me to be a better follower of Jesus, thank you!

Perry Harvey

I really must say that I was extremely saddened by this news. Hank was such a great person, very genuine, kind, generous, and always delightful to be around. His positive attitude and friendly demeanor really shinned through to many who knew him. It was a blessing knowing and working with Hank at Spara. He will be remembered and deeply missed by many.

My heart goes out to his family. I am truly sorry for your loss.
May he rest in peace for eternity.

Dear Lorraine, Kellie and Holly.  Carol and I were stunned to hear of Hank’s death.  We are so sorry for your loss of your husband and dad.  Hank was the best neighbor anyone could ever hope for.  He was always willing to stop his chores to talk with me about just about anything.  A few years ago he came down to our house and cooked supper for Carol and me as well as six of our friends who were going to have Hank be the captain and cook on a Caribbean trip.  He was as excited as we were and told everyone what they could expect as well as answer questions from everyone.  Two of the couples backed out the following week for reasons I never found out.  To take the trip with only four of us and Hank would have been too costly so we never had the chance to experience sailing with Hank.  Hank loaned me just about any tool or piece of equipment that he had.  What a great guy, as I’m sure you all know.  We spent a week in your place at the shore and Hank answered all our questions before we went.  Had fun visiting with he and Judy and enjoyed eating out with them.  Missed him a whole bunch when he moved, but not as much as you will with his passing.  He was a fantastic guy!!  I know he is in Heaven with his Lord right now, so you at least have that to help get you through his death.  You will be in our prayers as you face the future without your husband and dad.  I’m sorry we will not be able to be at the service, but we will be in one of your husband’s and dad’s favorite places, St. Martin.  We will be thinking of him as we watch the waves hit the beach.  Bless you all!  Larry and Carol Woods, neighbors at 1949 Harrington Drive.

I had the pleasure of working with Hank at PA Malleable many years ago.  He was a great guy and I will always remember him.  He even helped me to get a good job after a layoff at the foundry left me without employment.  I am so very sorry for your loss.  Your family is in my prayers.

Wendy J. Diffendall

I was so sorry to hear about Hank’s passing.  He was a pleasure to work with and always treated us fairly in our dealings with him.  He was a fine gentleman and will be missed.

Sincerely,
Steve Davis

I just wanted to extend my condolences on the loss of someone I considered to be a good man and revered business colleague.  I had the pleasure of working with Hank over the last 8 years first at TechCast then in Michigan at CMI and Sparra. While I valued the business opportunity he provided, I more enjoyed our social times as he loved to give me a hard time but also offered good counsel.

I am sure he will be missed most by his family but know that others will continue to remember him.  I will remember him fondly and as a blessing.

Mark Neff

You are all in our thoughts and prayErs.  May god grant him eternal rest.

I served on the Board of Directors of the Investment Casting Institute with Hank. Hank was a wonderful person to work with. Not only always willing to give his opinion, but also always willing to help. He enjoyed life to the fullest and always had a positive outlook. You can tell he loved his family.
As a fellow PA person, you can always differentiate the people from PA from the rest of the country. Sincere, honest, hardworking, fun-loving, and helpful. Hank will be missed greatly but I am sure he is living well in his eternal life.

Dear Laurie, Holly and Kelly

On behalf of the entire Tech Cast organization, I would like to extend our most heart felt condolences to you and your family members.  The sudden passing of our fearless leader has left our entire organization very numb with sadness, yet comforted knowing he is resting in a much better place.

Mr. Harvey was much more than our President, he was an industry icon, a mentor to myself and others alike, a true friend, and most importantly a great family man.  Hank’s passion for our organization, its long term success, and the investment casting industry as a whole is one I will never forget, and one we all will forever be indebted to for his leadership and service in this regard.

Hank’s larger than life personality, perseverance, and endless joke telling has left a lasting impression on all of us both personally and professionally.

While coming to work this past week has been extremely difficult, Im comforted knowing we have been given a gift that I will forever hold close to me heart..

Hank you will missed by all, but I promise to do my best to continue the legacy you have left behind for our organization.

May you forever rest in peace..

Your Friend,
Shawn Mckinney & The Entire Tech Cast Team..
