Dr. Ruel Lewis Taylor, Jr.,72, of Manheim Twp., passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, August 19, 2022. Ruel was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 1, 1950, to the late Martha (Bennett) and Ruel L. Taylor Sr., the middle of nine children.

Ruel was a talented Board-Certified Urologist, as well as a Fellow with American Association of Physician Specialists. As a physician, he was loved by his patients and co-workers. He brought a smile into every room and treated people with kindness and respect everywhere he went.

Dearest Kathy, I am just beyond words here. I know how much you loved Ruel and your long history of friendship. He was just a lovable guy and I didn’t know him well. I remember how he would come to visit you at the shop and I enjoyed those visits too.  What a spirit he was. I know he will be dearly missed. You are in my heart, friend, and I will pray for your peace and comfort in the coming months and years.  I am grateful you are able to be back in the arms of friends and family. Much love, Wendy Fiorenzo
