It saddens my heart to hear of Dot’s passing.  She was a perky, funny, and kind lady that I met through playing bridge.  I will miss her.

Our deepest sympathy to each of you on your loss of this senior member of your family.  We enjoyed her company on many occasions over the years with Scott and Barb’s family, most especially a summer vacation.  She was a great card player!  We know you will miss her company.
In friendship,
Gary and Susan Saltsgiver

Dear Family members of Dorothy,
All of us at The Village of Olde Hickory send our deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother, grandmother and sister.  All of us had known Dorothy for a long time and have fond memories of her. She was very active when she lived here and we all enjoyed seeing her at our events.  939 Olde Hickory Road will always be Dorothy’s townhouse.  We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.
Fondly,
the Staff at The Village Of Olde Hickory

I’ve known Dottie for many years as she was our company nurse at the Armstrong R&D Center when I was employed there.  She was a very caring and humorous lady and we got along well.  Later, I found we had a similar interest – Bridge!  I just played for fun, but she was as enthusiastic about that as she was about her other life interests.

Some time later, I found that her son, Mike lived in my neighborhood and my wife and I got to know him and enjoyed him too.  It was a shock to see Dot’s obit in yesterday’s paper and we’re sorry that a prior commitment keeps us from meeting the family tomorrow.  We wish the best for her family at this time of sorrow.  May God grant you peace and blessing as you bid farewell to Dot!
